Since then, he has explored Italy, France, Croatia, Czechia, Norway, Portugal, and Turkiye, developing firsthand knowledge he now shares with clients. After completing his PhD and moving to London, UK, with Leah, Jake embraced travel full-time and joined the Boutique Escapes team. As a Travel Consultant at Boutique Escapes, Jake works closely with local guides, hotel concierges, and private drivers to design one-of-a-kind European itineraries. He thrives on finding hidden gems that elevate a client’s trip — from a quiet boutique hotel in Paris to lemon gelato served inside a lemon peel on the Amalfi Coast. Some of his favourite itineraries include sunsets in Santorini, hikes along the Path of the Gods, and food tours guided by some of Greece’s most welcoming locals. Living in London gives Jake a unique perspective, allowing him to balance must-see landmarks with the tucked-away experiences that guidebooks overlook.
